A bike built uncompromisingly for gravel racing - the Kaius 01 ONE proves that you can also be aerodynamic, responsive and mercilessly fast on gravel. The second generation of this gravel bike takes this idea even further.

The aerodynamics have been sharpened again and deliver a measured advantage of 7% at 40 km/h. Power transmission is more direct thanks to our 01 Premium Carbon layup, resulting in an even more responsive ride feel. Comfort, 52 mm tyre clearance and high-speed stability have all been further optimised - so that you can attack corners and remain stable when the bends come fast and the ground no longer plays along.

The build fits the claim perfectly. A complete SRAM Red XPLR AXS groupset with direct-mount rear derailleur and power meter ensures precision, even when fatigue sets in. The Next-Gen ICS Carbon Aero cockpit puts you in a low, race-ready position and keeps the front as clean as possible. The CG39 SL carbon tubeless wheels with carbon spokes deliver a comfortable but extremely responsive ride.

Race Ready Geometry
On race day, you don't have to worry about the track. Our geometry keeps you fast on any terrain: precise up front, stable at high speed and ready for the wider tyres that characterise modern gravel racing - chaotic but fast. n }}

Faster with more control
Gravel racing is evolving - and so is our tyre clearance. Bigger tyres mean more speed and more traction. This gives you the confidence to attack corners and rough terrain without compromise.

ICS Carbon Aero Cockpit
Developed with the Tudor Pro Cycling Team - this ICS Aero Cockpit is made by racers for racers: stiffer, more aerodynamic, more comfortable, more versatile adjustable and easier to fit. And yes, it looks great too.

Flexible
Wider tyres? Check. Flatter steering angle? Check. Optimised carbon layup? Check. You get the ideal mix of stiffness and compliance for every terrain - whether in Spain's deserts or on long US gravel tracks.

This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes

Safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes requires careful checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These guidelines provide practical recommendations for safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the manufacturer’s operating instructions.

1. Safety checks before riding

The following checks should be carried out before every ride :

Brakes and steering : Test that the brakes are working properly and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.

Tyres and wheels : Check that the tyre pressure is correct and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are securely fastened.

Fittings : Check that attachments such as mudguards, luggage racks, saddles and pedals are securely fastened.

Accessories and loading : Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the maximum load capacity is not exceeded.

2. Technical safety and permitted use

Component inspection: Regularly check safety-critical components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bicycle if there are any visible defects.

Maximum load capacity : Observe the weight restrictions for the total weight (bicycle, rider, load and, if applicable, trailer). You will find the specifications in the manufacturer’s information.

Proper use : Only use the bicycle or e-bike within the intended category of use. Improper use leads to safety risks.

Accessories and modifications : Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers and do not make any unauthorised modifications, particularly to the drive system of e-bikes.

3. Special notes for e-bikes

Battery and charging:

Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.

Charge the battery in safe locations and in accordance with the temperature specifications.

Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.

Electric assistance:

Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the push assist function. Test the e-bike first in a safe environment, particularly with varying loads or on difficult terrain.

Running-in disc brakes:

Run in new brakes before your first long ride to ensure optimum braking performance.

Transport guidelines:

When transporting the bike, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and comply with legal regulations.

4. Special safety rules for children’s bicycles

Duty of supervision: Children must only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Suitable size and equipment : Ensure that the bicycle is age-appropriate and that all safety features (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are in good working order.

Loading and accessories : Securely attach child seats and luggage racks and ensure that the load capacity is not exceeded.

5. Care and maintenance

Cleaning : Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure washers to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.

Regular inspections : Schedule regular maintenance with a qualified specialist workshop to check for wear and tear and ensure safety.

Spare parts : Use only original or approved spare parts to maintain the functionality of the bicycle.

6. What to do after your ride

Document any damage : If there is any visible damage or malfunction, do not continue to use the bicycle. Have it checked by a specialist workshop.

Avoid hot components : Avoid contact with hot components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.

Final notes

This safety information provides you with a comprehensive overview of the safe use of bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use and contact a specialist dealer if you have any questions. Safe and responsible use not only ensures your safety but also extends the life of your bike.
