The Teammachine 01 AMP TWO takes everything you know about a BMC road bike and amps it up to 160%. With our highest-quality 01 Premium Carbon layup, it remains extremely light whilst offering razor-sharp handling. Add to that 200W of assistance from the seamlessly integrated TQ-HPR40 motor system – professional-level assistance that makes every day feel like your best.

The ride feel and handling remain unmistakably those of a Teammachine: precise, confident and fast. The strategically applied Tuned Compliance Concept Race smooths out rough roads without taking away your momentum.

The integration is clean and minimalist – including discreet Shimano brake lever controls for effortless management of your extra power. The Shimano Ultegra Di2 ensures smooth shifting and braking. The BMC ICS Carbon Evo cockpit creates a clean, aerodynamic front end, whilst the 40 mm-high CR 40 Carbon Tubeless-Ready wheels roll quickly and smoothly.

You’re at 160%
Imagine this: you’re climbing Alpe d’Huez and staying on Julien Alaphilippe’s wheel. With the lightest road e-bike and an extra 200 watts in your legs. You’re riding at 160%. Don’t look back – Alaphilippe is falling behind.

Lightweight booster
More power is no use if the weight goes up. That’s why we developed the lightest e-road bike. Based on the race-proven Teammachine design and 01 Premium Carbon Technology

,

it rides like a top-tier road bike – only with extra power.

ICS Carbon Evo Cockpit
Integration meets comfort. The new shape improves fit and ergonomics without compromising the typical BMC control. Ultra-light, very stiff and with an 8° flare for additional stability at high speeds.

Range Extender compatible
Push your limits with the optional TQ Range Extender. It’s seamlessly integrated into reinforced bottle cages. That’s right – now you can enjoy the extra elevation and distances you’ve long dreamed of.

This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you need to do is straighten the handlebars and fit the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes

Safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes requires careful checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These guidelines provide practical recommendations for safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the manufacturer’s operating instructions.

1. Safety checks before riding

The following checks should be carried out before every ride :

Brakes and steering : Test that the brakes are working properly and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.

Tyres and wheels : Check that the tyre pressure is correct and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are securely fastened.

Fittings : Check that attachments such as mudguards, luggage racks, saddles and pedals are securely fastened.

Accessories and loading : Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the maximum load capacity is not exceeded.

2. Technical safety and permitted use

Component inspection: Regularly check safety-critical components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bicycle if there are any visible defects.

Maximum load capacity : Observe the weight restrictions for the total weight (bicycle, rider, load and, if applicable, trailer). You will find the specifications in the manufacturer’s information.

Proper use : Only use the bicycle or e-bike within the intended category of use. Improper use leads to safety risks.

Accessories and modifications : Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers, and do not make any unauthorised modifications, particularly to the drive system of e-bikes.

3. Special instructions for e-bikes

Battery and charging:

Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.

Charge the battery in safe locations and in accordance with the temperature specifications.

Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.

Electric assistance:

Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the push assist function. Test the e-bike first in a safe environment, particularly with varying loads or on difficult terrain.

Running-in disc brakes:

Run in new brakes before your first long ride to ensure optimum braking performance.

Transport guidelines:

When transporting the bike, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and comply with legal regulations.

4. Special safety rules for children’s bicycles

Duty of supervision: Children may only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible adult.

Suitable size and equipment : Ensure that the bicycle is age-appropriate and that all safety features (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are in good working order.

Loading and accessories : Securely attach child seats and luggage racks and ensure that the load capacity is not exceeded.

5. Care and maintenance

Cleaning : Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure washers to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.

Regular inspections : Schedule regular maintenance with a qualified specialist to check for wear and tear and ensure safety.

Spare parts : Only use original or approved spare parts to maintain the functionality of the bicycle.

6. What to do after your ride

Document any damage : If there is any visible damage or malfunction, the bicycle must not be used any further. Have it checked by a specialist workshop.

Avoid hot components : Avoid contact with hot components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.

Final notes

This safety information provides you with a comprehensive overview of the safe use of bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes. Always follow the manufacturer’s instructions for use and contact a specialist dealer if you have any questions. Safe and responsible use not only ensures your safety but also extends the life of your bike.
