The Teammachine SLR 01 FOUR stays true to the Teammachine formula, making it the perfect climbing bike. Featuring the same iconic design and a stiff yet responsive ride feel, honed in our Impec Lab, it’s lighter, more precise and faster than ever before.
The refined frame, made from our 01 Pro Carbon material, is uncompromisingly stiff and delivers exceptional power transfer on the climbs as well as razor-sharp handling on the descents. It’s light where it counts, aerodynamic where it matters, and engineered to bring the BMC SLR 01 standard within reach of more customers.
TCC Race Comfort ensures a smooth ride without compromising on stiffness, giving it that unmistakable BMC confidence on any road surface.
A Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset, a 4iiii Precision power metre, the ICS Carbon Evo full-carbon cockpit and CR 40 SL carbon tubeless-ready wheels complete a build designed for decisive moments in the mountains.
Supported by state-of-the-art CFD software and intensive wind tunnel testing, our engineers have once again exceeded all expectations. This time, they’ve taken it to a whole new level with the most aerodynamically advanced climbing bike in BMC’s history.
A seamlessly integrated pair of ultra-lightweight and extremely strong carbon bottle cages, designed for optimal airflow around the newly shaped down tube and seat tube. Leave the bottles on the frame to significantly reduce drag.
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you need to do is straighten the handlebars and fit the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes
The safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes requires careful checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These guidelines provide practical recommendations for safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
1. Safety checks before riding
The following checks should be carried out before every ride:
Brakes and steering: Check that the brakes are working properly and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.
Tyres and wheels: Check that the tyre pressure is correct and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are securely fastened.
Fittings: Check that attachments such as mudguards, luggage racks, the saddle and pedals are securely fastened.
Accessories and loading: Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the maximum load capacity is not exceeded.
2. Technical safety and permitted use
Component inspection: Regularly check safety-critical components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bicycle if there are any visible defects.
Maximum load capacity: Observe the weight restrictions for the total weight (bicycle, rider, load and, where applicable, trailer). You will find the specifications in the manufacturer’s information.
Proper use: Only use the bicycle or e-bike within the intended category of use. Improper use poses safety risks.
Accessories and modifications: Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers, and do not carry out any unauthorised modifications, particularly to the drive system of e-bikes.
3. Special information for e-bikes
Battery and charging:
Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.
Charge the battery in safe locations and in accordance with the temperature specifications.
Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.
Electric assistance:
Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the push assist function. Test the e-bike first in a safe environment, particularly when carrying different loads or on difficult terrain.
Running in disc brakes:
Run in new brakes before your first long ride to ensure optimum braking performance.
Transport guidelines:
When transporting the bike, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and comply with legal regulations.

4. Special safety rules for children’s bicycles
Duty of supervision: Children must only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible adult.
Suitable size and equipment: Ensure that the bicycle is age-appropriate and that all safety features (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are in good working order.
Loading and accessories: Securely attach child seats and luggage racks, and take care not to exceed the load capacity.
5. Care and maintenance
Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning products. Avoid using high-pressure washers to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.
Regular inspections: Schedule regular servicing with a qualified specialist to check for wear and tear and ensure safety.
Spare parts: Only use original or approved spare parts to maintain the bike’s functionality.
6. What to do after your ride
Document any damage: If there is any visible damage or malfunction, do not continue to use the bicycle. Have it checked by a specialist workshop.
Avoid hot components: Avoid contact with hot components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.
