The Teammachine SLR 01 TWO is pure BMC: the ultimate carbon climbing bike with minimal weight, first-class power transfer, razor-sharp handling, advanced aerodynamics and a ride feel that was developed in our Impec Lab to be lighter, more precise and faster than ever before.
The ultra-light 01 premium carbon frame offers uncompromising stiffness both uphill and downhill while remaining light as a feather. Advanced aerodynamics across the entire frame provide extra speed - and bring our most advanced lightweight road bike closer than ever to the Teammachine R 01 in terms of aerodynamics.
With TCC Race compliance and precise handling, it carries the unmistakable BMC character and remains comfortable on rough roads and precisely controllable in corners.
With the Shimano Dura-Ace Di2 groupset with 4iiii power meter, the latest ICS Carbon Aero Cockpit and DT Swiss ARC 1100 DICUT 38 mm wheels, the result is a bike built for decisive moments in the mountains.
Supported by the latest CFD software and intensive wind tunnel tests, our engineers have once again exceeded all expectations. This time on a new level with the most aerodynamically advanced climbing bike in BMC's history.
Developed with the Tudor Pro Cycling Team - this ICS Aero Cockpit is by racers for racers: stiffer, more aerodynamic, more comfortable, more adjustable and easier to mount. And yes, it looks great too.
A seamlessly integrated pair of ultra-light and extremely strong carbon bottle cages, designed to optimise airflow around the newly shaped down tube and seat tube. Keep the bottles on the frame to significantly reduce drag.
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.
Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles
Safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles requires careful inspection, regular maintenance and proper handling. These instructions provide practical recommendations for safe use and should be considered in conjunction with the manufacturer's operating instructions.
1. Safety checks before riding
The following checks should be carried out before every ride : Brakes and steering : Test the brakes to ensure they are working properly and make sure that the steering is smooth and stable.
Tyres and wheels : Check that the tyre pressure is correct and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are secure.
Fastenings : Check that attachments such as mudguards, luggage racks, saddles and pedals are secure.
Accessories and load : Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly mounted and that the permissible load capacity is not exceeded.
2. Technical safety and permissible use
Component inspection: Regularly check safety-related components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bicycle if there are any visible defects.
Maximum load capacity : Observe the weight restrictions for the total weight (bicycle, rider, load and, if applicable, trailer). You will find the specifications in the manufacturer's information.
Proper use : Only use the bicycle or e-bike within the intended category of use. Improper use leads to safety risks.
Accessories and modifications : Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers and do not make any unauthorised modifications, especially to the drive system of e-bikes.
3. Special information for e-bikes
Battery and charging process:
Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.
Charge the battery in safe locations and in accordance with the temperature specifications.
Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.
Electric assistance:
Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the push assist. Test the e-bike first in a safe environment, especially with different loads or difficult ground conditions.
Running in disc brakes:
Run in new brakes before your first long ride to ensure optimum braking performance.
Transport specifications:
When transporting, observe the manufacturer's instructions and legal regulations.
Component manuals:

Supervisory responsibility: Children may only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible person.
Appropriate size and equipment : Ensure that the bicycle is age-appropriate and that all safety features (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are intact.
Loading and accessories : Securely attach child seats and luggage racks and ensure that the load capacity is not exceeded.
5. Care and maintenance
Cleaning : Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure cleaners to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.
Regular inspections : Schedule regular maintenance with a qualified specialist to check for wear and tear and ensure safety.
Spare parts : Only use original or approved spare parts to maintain the functionality of the bicycle.
6. Behaviour after riding
Document damage : If there is visible damage or malfunction, the bicycle must not be used any further. Have it checked by a specialist workshop.
Avoid hot components : Avoid contact with heated components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.
