Developed for the untamed. The URS 01 LT ONE hits that rare sweet spot that most gravel bikes only dream of. It can turn rough terrain into a playground. BMC Premium Carbon Layup? Yes. Low maintenance? It doesn't get any better than that. Ready for extreme gravel? Absolutely. Emotionally supportive? Strangely enough: yes.
The 20 mm Micro Travel Technology, integrated into the fork and seat stays, gives you the confidence (and the necessary irrationality) to stay in the saddle - through rocks, ruts, bumps and chaos. Because you can let it rip on a gravel bike too.
We combine these capabilities with the ultra-reliable SRAM Rival XPLR AXS groupset for wide gearing and precise shifting, so the bike keeps up even when your common sense has long since kicked the bucket.
The BMC AG 20 gravel wheelset is tough enough for anything that gets in your way, complemented by 45mm tyres that flatten the terrain (there's even room to go up to 47mm). Add to that storage space, mounting points, integration, cockpit adjustability and more - and you've got the adventure gravel bike of your dreams.
Stop waiting for perfect conditions - and start choosing the worst line on purpose.
Lower tube storage space
We have perfected the lower tube, to optimally integrate the internal storage space. Inside is a water-repellent pocket for everything you need - neatly stowed under an aerodynamically optimised bottle cage.
Micro Travel Technology seat stays
With 10 mm of adjustable travel, MTT takes the edge off even the hardest gravel hits. Tune it to your weight and take advantage of the extra transport capacity thanks to the additional cargo strap.
MTT suspension fork
20 mm of supple suspension travel. A spring characteristic that is optimised for the unexpected on the trail. The integrated Micro Travel Technology allows the suspension to be customised to your weight and terrain.
Gravel+ geometry
The new URS geometry: Gravel+ for more control and riding pleasure. Long reach and short stem offer stable, responsive handling - so you can concentrate fully on what lies beyond the horizon.
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes
Safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes requires careful checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These guidelines provide practical recommendations for safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the manufacturer’s operating instructions.
1. Safety checks before riding
The following checks should be carried out before every ride :
Brakes and steering : Test that the brakes are working properly and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.
Tyres and wheels : Check that the tyre pressure is correct and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are securely fastened.
Fittings : Check that attachments such as mudguards, luggage racks, saddles and pedals are securely fastened.
Accessories and load : Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the permissible load limit is not exceeded.
2. Technical safety and permitted use
Component inspection: Regularly check safety-critical components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bicycle if there are any visible defects.
Maximum load capacity : Observe the weight restrictions for the total weight (bicycle, rider, load and, if applicable, trailer). You will find the specifications in the manufacturer’s information.
Proper use : Only use the bicycle or e-bike within the intended category of use. Improper use leads to safety risks.
Accessories and modifications : Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers, and do not make any unauthorised modifications, particularly to the drive system of e-bikes.
3. Special instructions for e-bikes
Battery and charging:
Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.
Charge the battery in safe locations and in accordance with the temperature specifications.
Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.
Electric assistance:
Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the push assist. Test the e-bike first in a safe environment, particularly with varying loads or on difficult terrain.
Running-in disc brakes:
Run in new brakes before your first long ride to ensure optimum braking performance.
Transport guidelines:
When transporting the bike, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and comply with legal regulations.

4. Special safety rules for children’s bicycles
Duty of supervision: Children must only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible adult.
Suitable size and equipment : Ensure that the bicycle is age-appropriate and that all safety features (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are in good working order.
Loading and accessories : Securely attach child seats and luggage racks and ensure that the load capacity is not exceeded.
5. Care and maintenance
Cleaning : Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure washers to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.
Regular inspections : Schedule regular maintenance with a qualified specialist workshop to check for wear and tear and ensure safety.
Spare parts : Use only original or approved spare parts to maintain the bike’s functionality.
6. What to do after your ride
Document any damage : If there is visible damage or a malfunction, the bicycle must not be used any further. Have it checked by a specialist workshop.
Avoid hot components : Avoid contact with heated components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.
