This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you need to do is straighten the handlebars and fit the pedals.

Failure to use the product as intended may result in the failure of components and materials, posing a risk of accidents and injury:


Adhere to the restrictions of the specified usage class / bike classification

Do not exceed the permissible total weight (electric bike + rider + payload + trailer, if applicable)

Follow the manufacturer’s guidelines on carrying passengers and loads

Tampering with the drive system, in particular tuning, is not permitted

Check the electric bicycle for any damage before every ride, particularly to the frame, fork, handlebars/stem assembly, drive unit and seat post

Do not use the electric bicycle if any damage is detected

Be aware of the increased risk of injury due to potentially high temperatures of individual components (e.g. brakes, drive unit, headlight)

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions regarding the fitting of accessories (bags, locks, child seats, carrier systems, etc.) and the use of a trailer

Please observe the legal regulations applicable in the relevant country regarding use on public roads

When transporting the electric bicycle, follow the instructions provided by the manufacturer, the relevant authorities or the transport company


Before setting off

Before every journey, check the following in particular:


that the brakes, steering, chassis and lights are working properly,

that the handlebars, stem, wheels, mudguard and pedals are securely fastened, as well as

tyre pressure

Checks and adjustments must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.


Handling

To begin with, familiarise yourself with the handling and braking behaviour, as well as the electric assistance modes and the push assist (if fitted), particularly when carrying different loads, in wet conditions and on loose surfaces


After riding / maintenance

In the event of damage or malfunctions, the electric bicycle must be inspected by a specialist workshop before further use

Have the electric bicycle regularly inspected and serviced by a specialist workshop in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications to avoid hazards, e.g. those caused by wear and tear

Observe the specified torques (Nm) when fitting components

Use only batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer

Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging and using the battery, particularly regarding ambient temperature and the location where charging takes place

Only use undamaged and unmodified batteries and chargers

Modifying the components fitted to your electric bike may affect its safety and type approval. Contact your specialist dealer before carrying out any such modifications.
