The DUNE is different. It is the super enduro of light e-MTBs. Weighing less than 20 kg, it is the perfect bike for anyone who cannot decide between a modern enduro bike and a full-power e-bike. Mondraker has made the decision for you.

The DUNE is the ultimate in Mondraker's lightweight e-bike range. In some key aspects, such as lightness and agility, it is similar to the NEAT, but it takes a different approach by offering power and performance similar to the SUPERFOXY and LEVEL, with longer suspension travel and greater weight. The DUNE is the black sheep of the family, cheeky and nice at the same time, the super enduro of lightweight e-bikes. Weighing less than 20 kg, including the integrated 400 Wh battery, it is the dream of anyone who is torn between a modern enduro and a full-fledged e-bike but simply couldn't make up their mind. Now they don't have to.

NOW AVAILABLE: THE 60 NM POWER UPDATE FOR DUNE AND SLY!

When technology is your ally, there's only one option: update!

DUNE and SLY, the two light e-MTBs with the Bosch SX motor, can now be upgraded to a maximum torque of up to 60 Nm.

The wireless over-the-air update not only increases the original torque from 55 Nm to 60 Nm, but also unlocks the new eMTB+ mode and increases the maximum assistance from 340% to a whopping 400%. The 600-watt peak power remains unchanged.

To perform the update, simply open the Bosch eBike Flow app and follow the instructions.

This bike will arrive (almost) fully assembled. All you need to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles

Safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles requires careful inspection, regular maintenance and proper handling. These instructions provide practical recommendations for safe use and should be considered in conjunction with the manufacturer's operating instructions.

1. Safety checks before riding

The following checks should be carried out before every ride :

Brakes and steering : Test the brakes to ensure they are working properly and make sure that the steering is smooth and stable.

Tyres and wheels : Check that the tyre pressure is correct and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are secure.

Fastenings : Check that attachments such as mudguards, luggage racks, saddles and pedals are secure.

Accessories and load : Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly mounted and that the permissible load capacity is not exceeded.

2. Technical safety and permissible use

Component inspection: Regularly check safety-related components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bicycle if there are any visible defects.

Maximum load capacity : Observe the weight restrictions for the total weight (bicycle, rider, load and, if applicable, trailer). You will find the specifications in the manufacturer's information.

Proper use : Only use the bicycle or e-bike within the intended category of use. Improper use leads to safety risks.

Accessories and modifications : Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers and do not make any unauthorised modifications, especially to the drive system of e-bikes.

3. Special information for e-bikes

Battery and charging process:

Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.

Charge the battery in safe locations and in accordance with the temperature specifications.

Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.

Electric assistance:

Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the push assist. Test the e-bike first in a safe environment, especially with different loads or difficult ground conditions.

Running in disc brakes:

Run in new brakes before your first long ride to ensure optimum braking performance.

Transport specifications:

When transporting, observe the manufacturer's instructions and legal regulations.

4. Special safety rules for children's bicycles

Supervisory responsibility: Children may only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible person.

Appropriate size and equipment : Ensure that the bicycle is age-appropriate and that all safety features (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are intact.

Loading and accessories : Securely attach child seats and luggage racks and ensure that the load capacity is not exceeded.

5. Care and maintenance

Cleaning : Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure cleaners to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.

Regular inspections : Schedule regular maintenance with a qualified specialist to check for wear and tear and ensure safety.

Spare parts : Only use original or approved spare parts to maintain the functionality of the bicycle.

6. Behaviour after riding

Document damage : If there is visible damage or malfunction, the bicycle must not be used any further. Have it checked by a specialist workshop.

Avoid hot components : Avoid contact with heated components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.

Final notes

This safety information provides you with a comprehensive overview for the safe use of bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles. Always follow the operating instructions provided by the respective manufacturer and contact a specialist dealer if you have any questions. Safe and responsible use not only ensures your safety, but also extends the service life of your bicycle.
