With its robust construction and 800 Wh battery, the Reaction Hybrid Race masters all routes with ease. This e-hardtail is also PowerMore-ready, which means it can carry an additional 250 Wh for even more range if required. Its Bosch CX motor with Smart System is responsible for energetic forward support, while the 12-speed Sram Transmission 90 has the right gear for every situation on the go. For maximum riding comfort and first-class control, we have fitted 2.6-inch wide, grippy Schwalbe tyres and a Rockshox Recon Silver air suspension fork. Speaking of control: the hydraulic 4-piston disc brakes provide powerful braking power when required and slow the bike down reliably and safely in all conditions - and a retractable seat post is also included. The elegance and quality of the Reaction Hybrid are no coincidence, because the frame comes with many clever features. Its 800 Wh PowerTube battery from Bosch, together with the Bosch CX motor, fits safely, cleanly and beautifully into the design. The chassis is also PowerMore-ready, which means that a further 250 Wh can be added if required. The integrated seat clamp and internally routed cables also play into the clean lines. What else? A mount for the chain guide and the option of retrofitting ACID mudguards, a pannier rack and a compatible ACID front light via X-Connect. Last but not least, thanks to our Size Split System, we have the right fit for everyone. Conclusion: Everything you need for maximum riding fun!
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.

Before setting off
Before every journey, check in particular:
that the brakes, steering, suspension and lights are working properly,
that the handlebars, stem, wheels, mudguard and pedals are securely fastened, as well as
tyre pressure
Checking and adjustment must be carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications.
Handling
Initially familiarise yourself with the handling and braking behaviour, as well as the electric assistance modes and the push assist (if fitted), particularly when carrying different loads, in wet conditions and on loose surfaces
After riding / maintenance
In the event of damage or malfunctions, the electric bicycle must be inspected by a specialist workshop before further use
Have the electric bicycle regularly inspected and serviced by a specialist workshop in accordance with the manufacturer’s specifications to avoid hazards, e.g. due to wear and tear
Observe the specified torques (Nm) when fitting components
Use only batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer
Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for charging and using the battery, particularly regarding ambient temperature and the location where charging takes place
Only use undamaged and unmodified batteries and chargers
Modifying the components on the electric bike may affect safety and type approval. Contact your specialist dealer before undertaking such work.
