Brave the pouring rain that chills you to the bone. Tackle the final kilometres separating you from your life’s goal. Forge unbreakable bonds and explore new horizons together. The new Lapierre Pulsium embodies all of this; it adapts and blends seamlessly with every aspect of your sporting life. Dubbed the most versatile of our carbon road bikes, this model combines 3-in-1 DNA with a geometry heavily inspired by long-distance riding.
Whether it’s cycle touring, bikepacking, ultra-distance races or cross-training, nothing can stand in the way of its geometry and all-road capabilities, which can handle anything (gravel roads, cobblestones and even well-maintained paths). This endurance bike even comes close to perfection when fully kitted out: saddle bag, top-tube bag, frame bag and a handlebar bag. The storage space blends perfectly into the bike’s lines without compromising its manoeuvrability. Off on an adventure!
A bike designed for top performance
Complementing the Lapierre Xelius DRS, which is designed for competition, the Pulsium offers a subtlety and character shaped by long-distance riding: Everything in its DNA is geared towards covering kilometres, starting with the numerous mountings for panniers and, in particular, mudguards. The geometry remains playful and comfortable, whilst at the same time providing the composure needed for a multi-day cycle tour or an intense Sunday ride. This carbon bike offers a wide range of possibilities, not least thanks to its generous tyre clearance, which accommodates tyres up to 38 mm.
The newly designed 3D Tubular technology is a clear commitment to endurance and bears the typical Lapierre signature, which proves useful in terms of both ride comfort and style. With its state-of-the-art components and perfectly calibrated Shimano 105 gear system, this bike will undoubtedly become a trusted companion for everyone, including cross-trainers and competitive athletes who are always looking to add variety to their training!
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you need to do is straighten the handlebars and fit the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes
Safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children’s bikes requires thorough checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These guidelines provide practical advice on safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the manufacturer’s instruction manual.
1. Safety checks before riding
The following checks should be carried out before every ride:
Brakes and steering: Test that the brakes are working properly and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.
Tyres and wheels: Check that the tyre pressure is correct and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are securely fastened.
Fittings: Check that attachments such as mudguards, luggage racks, the saddle and pedals are securely fastened.
Accessories and loading: Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the maximum load capacity is not exceeded.
2. Technical safety and permitted use
Component inspection: Regularly check safety-critical components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bicycle if there are any visible defects.
Maximum load capacity: Observe the weight restrictions for the total weight (bicycle, rider, payload and, where applicable, trailer). You will find the specifications in the manufacturer’s information.
Proper use: Only use the bicycle or e-bike within the intended category of use. Improper use poses safety risks.
Accessories and modifications: Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers, and do not carry out any unauthorised modifications, particularly to the drive system of e-bikes.
3. Special notes for e-bikes
Battery and charging:
Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.
Charge the battery in safe locations and in accordance with the temperature specifications.
Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.
Electric assistance:
Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the push assist function. Test the e-bike first in a safe environment, particularly when carrying different loads or on difficult terrain.
Running in disc brakes:
Run in new brakes before your first long ride to ensure optimum braking performance.
Transport guidelines:
When transporting the bike, follow the manufacturer’s instructions and comply with legal requirements.

4. Special safety rules for children’s bicycles
Duty of supervision: Children must only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible adult.
Suitable size and equipment: Ensure that the bicycle is age-appropriate and that all safety features (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are in good working order.
Loading and accessories: Securely attach child seats and luggage racks, and take care not to exceed the load capacity.
5. Care and maintenance
Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure washers to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.
Regular inspections: Schedule regular servicing with a qualified specialist workshop to check for wear and tear and ensure safety.
Spare parts: Only use original or approved spare parts to maintain the bike’s functionality.
6. What to do after your ride
Document any damage: If there is any visible damage or malfunction, do not continue to use the bicycle. Have it checked by a specialist workshop.
Avoid hot components: Avoid contact with hot components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.
