Dusty

The frame is made from a high-end carbon fibre STEALTH AIR CARBON and comes with an innovative geometry adapted to gravel bikes. A long reach is combined with a slack 70 degree head angle and a compact rear triangle with 425mm chainstays. The chainstay design provides confidence, comfort and security for long rides on any terrain. Yes, Mondraker is synonymous with mountain bikes. But from now on it is also synonymous with gravel.

The DUSTY is made for short, intensive training rides as well as for adventures into the unknown, packed with the most necessary equipment without knowing exactly where you are going and for how long. Almost unlimited range, countless mounting points for accessories and bags, plus a geometry that inspires self-confidence leave the choice of route and its difficulty entirely on the rider's shoulders.

The hub motor delivers 23 Newton metres directly to the rear wheel. If you compare this with a mid-motor that is otherwise often used, it delivers roughly the same power as a motor with 55 Newton metres.

This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.

Safety information for bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles

The safe and long-term use of bicycles, e-bikes and children's bicycles requires careful checks, regular maintenance and proper handling. These instructions provide you with practical recommendations for safe use and should be followed in conjunction with the operating instructions of the respective manufacturer.

1. Safety checks before riding

The following checks should be carried out before every journey:

Brakes and steering: Test the functionality of the brakes and ensure that the steering is smooth and stable.

Tyres and wheels: Check that the tyres are correctly inflated and that the wheels and quick-release skewers are secure.

Fastenings: Check that attachments such as mudguards, pannier racks, saddle and pedals are securely fastened.

Accessories and load: Ensure that luggage and accessories are correctly fitted and that the permitted load capacity is not exceeded.

2. Technical safety and authorised use

Component inspection: Regularly inspect safety-relevant components such as the frame, fork, handlebars, seat post and brakes for damage. Do not use the bike if there are visible defects.

Maximum load capacity: Observe the weight limits for the total weight (bike, rider, payload and trailer if applicable). The details can be found in the manufacturer's information.

Proper use: Only use the bike or e-bike within the scope of the intended use category. Improper use leads to safety risks.

Accessories and modifications: Only use approved accessories such as child seats or trailers and do not make any unauthorised modifications, especially to the drive system of e-bikes.

3. Special instructions for e-bikes

Battery and charging process:

Only use batteries and chargers approved by the manufacturer.

Charge the battery in a safe place and in accordance with the temperature specifications.

Remove the battery before transporting the e-bike.

Electric assistance:

Familiarise yourself with the assistance modes and the pushing aid. Test the e-bike in a safe environment first, especially with different loads or difficult ground conditions.

Running in the disc brakes:

Run in new brakes before your first big ride to ensure optimum braking performance.

Transport specifications:

Observe the manufacturer's instructions and legal regulations when transporting.

4. Special safety rules for children's bikes

Duty of supervision: Children may only use bicycles under the supervision of a responsible person.

Appropriate size and equipment: Make sure that the bike is age-appropriate and that all safety devices (e.g. brakes, reflectors, chain guard) are intact.

Loading and accessories: Attach child seats and pannier racks securely and ensure that the load capacity is not exceeded.

5. Care and maintenance

Cleaning: Use a soft cloth and mild cleaning agents. Avoid high-pressure cleaners to prevent damage to electrical and mechanical components.

Regular inspections: Schedule regular maintenance at a qualified specialist company to check for wear and ensure safety.

Spare parts: Only use original or approved spare parts to maintain the functionality of the bike.

6. Behaviour after the ride

Documenting damage: In the event of recognisable damage or malfunctions, the bike must not be used any further. Have it checked by a specialised company.

Avoid hot components: Avoid contact with heated components such as brake discs or drive units to prevent burns.
