| Frame | CC full carbon frame: Other bikes in this category often do not use carbon, as only a few companies have mastered the manufacturing process well enough to take full advantage of the material. Santa Cruz's carbon frames are developed in-house in California and produced in their own factory. And they come with the well-known lifetime warranty. |

Important safety information
The most comprehensive overview of relevant safety information and warnings can be found at in our bicycle operating instructions. Please visit the following link to view the complete instructions: Manual
We have listed some important points for you below. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and we cannot guarantee its completeness .
1. Assembly and operation: Ensure that all components of the bicycle are fully assembled in accordance with the operating instructions. Only use the bicycle if all screws/nuts have been tightened to the specified torque. Read the operating instructions and all additional documentation carefully before using the bicycle for the first time. 2. Permissible load: Do not exceed the permissible total load of the bicycle, as this may result in breakage or failure of important safety components.
2. Permissible load: Do not exceed the permissible total load of the bicycle, as this may result in breakage or failure of important safety components . The brake system is only designed for the permissible total load.
3. Laws and regulations: Observe all local and national bicycle laws and regulations. These include, but are not limited to, licensing, helmet requirements, child seats, bicycle traffic laws, and regulations for lighting and reflectors.
4. Bicycle registration: You must register your bicycle in order to make warranty claims. Keep the instruction manual for future reference and consult your dealer if you have any questions about assembly and maintenance.
5. Modifications and adjustments: Modifications to the components of your bicycle may compromise safety and invalidate the warranty. Not all components or accessories have been tested for compatibility and safety. Consult your specialist dealer before making any modifications to your bicycle.
6. Chassis and suspension: Improper suspension adjustment can lead to malfunctions and increase the risk of loss of control and accidents. Regularly check the suspension for visible damage and have any leaks or damage repaired immediately by your specialist dealer.
7. Wheel safety: Do not ride with an improperly secured wheel or axle. This can cause the wheel to move or detach from the bicycle, resulting in an accident. Consult the axle manufacturer's instructions for proper installation.
8. Brake levers and seat adjustments: Ensure that you can reach the brake levers when your hands are securely positioned on the handlebars. A brake that cannot be reached may result in loss of control and an accident.
9. Disc brakes: Do not touch disc brakes and rotors immediately after use, as they become very hot and can cause burns. Allow them to cool completely before touching them.
10. Handlebars and head tube: Changes to the handlebar height should only be made by a specialist dealer. Improper installation can damage the fork steerer tube and cause an accident. Do not remove spacer rings from the fork steerer tube.
11. Rotor sizes: Observe the rotor size restrictions specified by the fork manufacturer. A rotor larger than recommended may affect the fork, frame or other components and lead to an accident.
12. Handlebar grips and plugs: Use handlebar end plugs to cover the ends of the handlebars. Uncovered handlebar ends can cause injuries in an accident.
13. Saddle height adjustment: Incorrect saddle height adjustment can lead to falls, injuries and/or death. We recommend that all assembly and adjustment work be carried out by a specialist dealer.
14. Seat clamp bolts: Failure to tighten the seat clamp bolt in accordance with the seat post manufacturer's recommendations may damage the seat tube and cause an accident.
15. Seat adjustment: An incorrectly adjusted or ill-fitting saddle can cause injury to soft tissue, nerves and blood vessels. Symptoms include pain, tingling, numbness or soreness.
16. Air hoses at petrol stations: Do not use air hoses at petrol stations to inflate your tyres. These air hoses may have inaccurate pressure readings and inflate the tyres too quickly, which can cause damage or tyre blowouts.
17. Tyre clearance: For front forks, there must be at least 6 mm of tyre clearance when the air is completely deflated from the fork and fully compressed. Measure around the edges of the inflated tyre and the fork crown, fork bracket and head tube.
18. Luggage racks and trailers: The use of luggage racks or trailers can affect steering, suspension performance and other components, and increase braking distance. Do not overload the bicycle and ensure that luggage and rack parts do not cover the lights or reflectors or come into contact with moving parts.
19. Maintenance intervals: Observe the maintenance intervals. These serve as a guideline for normal operation and may vary depending on conditions. Ensure that the bicycle is serviced in accordance with our specifications and that all maintenance work is documented. Components may fail if wear and damage are not identified in good time. In the event of an impact or accident, consult your specialist dealer immediately for inspection. Ensure regular maintenance, frequent inspections and replacement of parts as required.
