Top priority: Best handling
Every decision during development was subordinate to the goal of optimising handling and riding enjoyment. These are the obvious points such as the robust and lightweight carbon frame, the outstanding chassis and the optimised, size-dependent geometry. But there are also the small details, such as the seat stay bridge and the one-piece aluminium rocker arm for high rigidity and a closed down tube instead of a removable battery cover to save a lot of weight.
Lots of suspension travel
With 170mm of suspension travel front and rear, it comes surprisingly close to a downhill bike without a double crown fork. The Bullit is an e-bike that pushes the boundaries of what is possible.
The powerful Bosch drive
The Bosch Performance Line CX is powerful, reliable and quiet. The available power and how it unfolds brings riding fun to the uphill. And you relaxed at the start of the downhill.
Flexible range & uncompromisingly good handling
850 Wh ... more or less. 600 Wh in the down tube. In addition, the optional PowerMore Range Extender provides 250 Wh of extra range when you need it. On normal days when the main battery is sufficient (1000-1500 metres in altitude), you won't be manoeuvring unnecessary weight over the trail. Excellent handling was at the centre of every development decision, and weight was one of the most important parameters
System control
The entire Bosch system is wonderfully integrated, simple and technically sophisticated. The tiny, ergonomic, wireless remote control, the wireless speed sensor and the discreet display make life easy. With the Bosch app, you can customise the modes, upload routes, record tours and even select the right support for you depending on the range.
Built for many biking lifetimes
Stability is more important than compromising on storage, layup or equipment. Instead, we save weight with a slim design. All equipment variants weigh less than 22.5kg. As with all Santa Cruz bikes, the pivot points are robust, reliable and easy to maintain. In addition, first owners receive lifetime replacement bearings for the rear triangle.
Independent adjustment options
There are two FlipChips, one for progression and one for geometry. The geo chip raises or lowers the bottom bracket by 4mm and adjusts the steering angle by 0.3°. The progression chip changes the progression of the rear triangle and allows you to adapt the suspension to your riding style.
Why a four-link? Why not a VPP?
The four-link rear triangle has already proven its worth on the Vala. To summarise once again - dispensing with the VPP rear triangle makes it possible to combine a large motor with a longer dropper post and, above all, with the suspension characteristics we wanted. This is important to us and brings riding fun and rear suspension performance to the roughest trails.
Size-dependent geometry
The steepest seat angle and the slackest steering angle (63,3°) that we have ever built into a bike designed for pedalling - for efficiency on the climbs and full throttle on the descents.
The chainstay length grows with the frame size and ensures a balanced geometry regardless of body size.
The first Bullit in size S (it still goes up to XXL)
For the first time we have a Bullit e-bike in size S. And it also comes with MX wheels. We offer uncompromisingly good geometries in every frame size - from S to XXL
This bike arrives (almost) fully assembled. All you have to do is straighten the handlebars and attach the pedals.

Important safety information
The most comprehensive overview of relevant safety information and warnings can be found in our bicycle user manual. Please visit the following link to view the full manual: Manual
We have listed a few important points for you below. Please note that this list is not exhaustive and we cannot guarantee its completeness .
1. Assembly and operation: Ensure that all components of the bicycle are fully assembled in accordance with the user manual. Only use the bicycle if all bolts/nuts have been tightened to the specified torque. Read the user manual and all additional documentation carefully before using the bicycle for the first time.
2. Permissible load: Do not exceed the permissible total load of the bicycle, as this may lead to breakage or failure of important safety components . The braking system is designed only for the permissible total load.
3. Laws and regulations: Observe all local and national cycling laws and regulations. These include, but are not limited to, licensing, compulsory helmet use, child seats, cycling traffic laws, and regulations regarding lights and reflectors.
4. Bicycle registration: You must register your bicycle in order to make a warranty claim . Keep the user manual for future reference and consult your specialist dealer if you have any questions regarding assembly and maintenance.
5. Modifications and adjustments: Modifications to your bicycle’s components may compromise safety and invalidate the warranty. Not all components or accessories have been tested for compatibility and safety. Consult your specialist dealer before making any changes to the bicycle.
6. Chassis and suspension: Incorrect suspension settings can lead to malfunctions and increase the risk of losing control and having an accident. Check the suspension regularly for visible damage and have any leaks or damage repaired immediately by your specialist dealer.
7. Wheel safety: Do not ride with a wheel or axle that is not properly secured. This can cause the wheel to move or detach from the bike, resulting in an accident . Consult the axle manufacturer’s instructions for correct installation.
8. Brake levers and seat adjustments: Ensure you can reach the brake levers when your hands are positioned securely on the handlebars. A brake that is out of reach can lead to loss of control and an accident.
9. Disc brakes: Do not touch disc brakes and rotors immediately after use, as these become very hot and can cause burns. Allow them to cool completely before touching them.
10. Handlebars and steerer tube: Adjustments to the handlebar height should only be carried out by a specialist dealer. Incorrect installation can damage the fork steerer tube and cause an accident. Do not remove spacer rings from the fork steerer tube.
11. Rotor sizes: Observe the fork manufacturer’s rotor size restrictions. A rotor larger than recommended may affect the fork, frame or other components and lead to an accident.
12. Handlebar grips and end caps: Use handlebar end caps to cover the ends of the handlebars . Uncovered handlebar ends can cause injuries in the event of an accident.
13. Saddle height adjustment: Incorrect saddle height adjustment can lead to falls, injuries and/or death. We recommend that all assembly and adjustment work be carried out by a specialist dealer.
14. Saddle clamp bolts: Failure to tighten the saddle clamp bolt in accordance with the recommendations of the seatpost manufacturer may damage the seat tube and cause an accident.
15. Seat adjustment: A saddle that is not correctly adjusted or does not fit properly can lead to injuries to soft tissues, nerves and blood vessels. Symptoms include pain, tingling, numbness or soreness.
16. Air hoses at petrol stations: Do not use air hoses at petrol stations to inflate your tyres. These air hoses may give inaccurate pressure readings and inflate the tyres too quickly, which can lead to damage or tyre blowouts.
17. Tyre clearance: For front forks, there must be at least 6 mm of tyre clearance when the fork is completely deflated and fully compressed. Measure around the edges of the inflated tyre and the fork crown, the fork legs and the head tube.
18. Luggage racks and trailers: The use of luggage racks or trailers can affect steering, suspension performance and other components, and increase braking distances. Do not overload the bicycle and ensure that luggage and rack components do not cover the lights or reflectors or come into contact with moving parts.
19. Maintenance intervals: Observe the maintenance intervals. These serve as a guideline for normal operation and may vary depending on conditions. Ensure that the bicycle is serviced in accordance with our specifications and that all maintenance work is documented. Components may fail if wear and damage are not identified in good time. In the event of an impact or accident, consult your specialist dealer immediately for an inspection. Ensure regular maintenance, frequent inspections and the replacement of parts as required.
