Focus is part of Focus & Kalkhoff Holding, the largest bicycle manufacturer in Germany. At the time of its launch in 1993, the brand was already making a name for itself with sporty mountain bikes. After the range was expanded, trekking bikes were added in 1995. Today, the brand offers a high-quality, diverse portfolio of bikes. F.O.L.D. (FOCUS OPTIMISED LINKAGE DESIGN)
Focus has developed and patented its own rear suspension system, which offers several advantages and can be used for all Focus fullys. The kinematics are divided into 2 phases, which make the suspension travel more forgiving and flexible. In the first phase, the rear suspension responds sensitively and never loses traction. In phase 2, a progressive characteristic curve generates enough damping to maintain control even on rough impacts. The dampers of the Focus bikes are also always matched to the respective models in order to maximise the riding experience for the rider.

Cockpit Integration Solutions (C.I.S)
The in-house C.I.S from Focus enables the rider to have an optimally organised cockpit. The cables can be optimally integrated for gravel, road and mountain bikes. No cable clutter, no untidy appearance, maximum performance.
